Some Notes about this area of SeattleBirthNet:
These pages are intended to help expectant parents make informed decisions about the
providers they use and the places they choose to give birth in Seattle.

This is not intended to be a place where you can check your providers standing with the
State or read about the times when they have been disciplined.  As an informed consumer,
you have the right to this information and can access it at
https://fortress.wa.gov/doh/hpqa1/Application/Credential_Search/profile.asp

This site may not have all of the relevant statistics on your provider or place of delivery.  We
are trying to include many, but you can
visit here   to read many interesting local statistics.

This is a place where birthing professionals and mothers can share their best advice and
experiences with expectant mothers and fathers.  It is our belief that focusing on the positive
aspects of these issues will help give women the information they need to choose to put
themselves and their babies into the hands of the best providers we have available to us.

Who you choose to deliver with will make a difference to your mental and physical
well-being and that of your child's.  Choosing not to seriously look at where you will be
delivering and finding out what you can do to be successful there is choosing not to choose.
Be an educated consumer!  Be your own best advocate!  Be your child's best advocate!
