Please do not sign and mail in a contract without speaking to Jodilyn first. Before we sign a
contract we will have a brief meeting by phone or in person to make sure we are a good fit
for each other and that I am available for your due date. I look forward to talking with you!

People often ask about my sliding scale fee. It is based on an honor system and each family
pays what they can. I am very open to working out payment plans, please don't be shy
about asking.
Every year I work with a certain number of families free of charge. For 2008/2009, I am
booked through January of 2009 for these births.
If you would like a low cost or free doula, I can help connect you with a certifying doula who
needs to attend births as part of her certification process. She will be gaining experience on
the job but will come to your birth with a lot of knowledge and know-how. Please email me if
you would like help connecting with one of these doulas.
Women who have husbands in the military are eligible for a free doula via Operation Special
Delivery.
And remember above all else, your doula will not be your hero or your champion, you and
your baby will rise to the top of the podium for those honors and responsibilities. Your doula
will provide you with a great deal of comfort, knowledge and loving care along the way.
